AFTER a rocking launch night in April, the Good Vibes House Party is back for the last gig of the year — and it’s a Halloween house party like no other.

First seen on the Sugar Skulls Stage at Bestival, The Zombie Love In comes to town on the October 19 at Strings Bar and Venue, Newport.

Club creator, Ian ‘Knocka’ Dore said: “We were only going to do one just for a giggle and to entertain ourselves.

"As it turns out, it was a hoofing night and the floor filling masses were eager for another.

"Getting all the jocks together proved to be challenging, but Halloween is always a groovy time of the year, and as I put together the Zombie Love In for Bestival, this seemed to make sense.”

The event will be covering all bases when it comes to '90s dance music, together with a few remixes and mash ups, belting out beats, rhymes and Basslines taking you back to the heady days of euphoric clubbing.

Club classic, floor filling monsters are order of the night.

"The DJ line up is nothing short of stonking, with a special guest to be announced at a later date," said Ian.

Jocks on the night will include DJ Star, DJ Magik, DJ Phathead and DJ Ian 'Knocka' Dore.

“After the first one, we got some amazing feedback and the results were — open the door to all over 18, take it a bit more 90s on the music side of life, and curate it in more of a club environment," said Ian.

"So here we are at Strings — all are welcome — with a DJ line up that were playing at the forefront of the '90s music scene.

"They are eager to set the decks alight in a zombie style, so it’s a case of bring out the raving dead.”

The night supports the youth radio station, Youth Radio Rocks, a not-for-profit entity that gives young people and like-minded individuals the opportunity to take part in DJing and radio broadcasting.

All of the proceeds on the night will go towards new kit and training materials for the online radio station.
