POLICE have seized an uninsured car in Calbourne today (Wednesday).
The vehicle was seized after being stopped in Calbourne, and was recovered by Stag Lane Motors.
The vehicle's MOT had expired on July 3, and had not been renewed.
Isle of Wight Police confirmed that it was not the first time the vehicle had been seized.
At 11.03am, Isle of Wight Police tweeted:
VEHICLE SEIZURE - Vehicle stopped in Calbourne. Tax due 1st of March. MOT expired in July. Vehicle recovered by @StagLaneMotors. Not the first time this vehicle has been seized #NotWorthTheRisk - 20714 pic.twitter.com/sDcB0NZpg7
