A SANDOWN hotel worker has been left without her main means of transport after her bike was stolen from behind the seafront hotel.

Agnieszka Abramik Jędrusik's bike was stolen from behind the Trouville Hotel at around 3.30pm on Sunday as staff were working in the building.

Someone was seen on CCTV lifting the bike through a gate at the back of the hotel.

Ms Jędrusik said: "I only bought a bike two weeks ago, it still has a sticker with a store advertisement on it, every morning I commuted by to work by bicycle.

"The thief was a young man with a white hat and a white Adidas bag."

An IW Police spokesperson said: "We received a report at 4.25pm yesterday that a bike had been stolen from the Trouville Hotel on Sandown Esplanade.

"This took place some time between 3.30pm and 4pm the same day."
