SEVERAL high-value possessions were stolen after a car was broken into on a Friday afternoon.

Sometime between 5pm and 6.15pm, on Friday, September 6, Donna Sanders' Land Rover was broken into — its passenger-side window smashed — and a rucksack stolen.

Located on the front passenger seat, the rucksack contained a HP Pavillion laptop, bank cards and three rings, including a wedding ring and an engagement ring.

The rings alone — described as a platinum wedding band with a pattern etched on it, a white gold wedding ring with one diamond and others either side of it, and an 18 carat total, white gold eternity ring with white diamonds — are worth around £3,000.

A pink floral scarf, black trousers and a pink blouse were also stolen.

Donna's vehicle was parked on the main road next to the crematorium in Wootton at the time.
