Hour-long delays reported on main Newport to Cowes road
DELAYS of up to an hour have been reported on the main Newport to Cowes road today (Tuesday).
The delays are a result of road construction works being carried out at Northwood.
At 4pm, Southern Vectis tweeted:
There are significant delays on the Route 1 because of congestion through the road reconstruction works @ Northwood. Buses running up to 60mins behind time
