A LARGE bridal party, including ten bridesmaids, attended the wedding of Kymberly Jade Rose Skinner and Darryl Wayne Watkinson.

The couple, who live in Ryde, married at Quay Arts on August 10, followed by a reception at the Simeon Arms, Ryde.

The bride, a magazine specialist at the County Press, is the daughter of Mary Skinner, of Ryde, and the late David Skinner.

The bridegroom, a barber, is the son of Lindsey Aspinall, or York, and the late Peter Watkinson.

The bride wore a sweetheart sequin tulle and satin A-line gown, featuring a cross-over pleated waist, and a white rose and crystal belt.

She also wore an ivory veil with teardrop crystals, and carried a bouquet of fresh olive and eucalyptus foliage with blush hydrangeas, gypsophila and white wedding roses, tied loose to give a rustic finish.

She also carried a sentimental heart made from crystals from her mother's wedding tiara.

She was accompanied by maid of honour Laura Robinson, who wore a long dusky-pink gown and silver tiara, and rapped her speech at the reception to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme tune.

The bride was also accompanied by Ezme Skinner (bride's daughter), Brogan Watkinson (bridegroom's daughter), Aeryn Watkinson (bridegroom's daughter), Myer Watkinson (bridegroom's daughter), Abigail Skinner (bride's niece), Tayler Skinner (bride's niece), Imogen Wort (bride's niece), India Wort (bride's niece) and Amber Peck, who all wore cap-sleeve Baroque-style tea dresses in a mix of dusky pink, blue and cream.

Flower girls were Leyla Watkinson (bridegroom's niece), Sienna Skipper and India Skipper, who wore a mix of blue and pink dresses.

Page boys were Theo Skinner-Mew (bride's nephew) and Hugo Skinner-Mew (bride's nephew), who wore suits with blue and pink bow ties and braces.

The bride was given away by Murray Skinner (bride's brother) and driven to the ceremony by Russell Skinner (bride's brother). Best man was Kev Pont, with Joe Stephenson, Philip Sheppard and Johann Bowden as ushers.

The ceremony was officiated by registrar Melanie Henretty.

A honeymoon in New York will follow next year.
