A COUPLE who met at Tovil Men's Working Club, Poppy Whatley and Neil Phillips, were married at Inn On The Lake, Kent.
The bride, a nursery nurse born on the Isle of Wight, is the daughter of Julie Short, of Kent, and the late David Whatley, of the Isle of Wight.
She was given away by her stepfather, Michel Short.
The bridegroom, a window cleaner, is the son of Pat and Dave Phillips, of Dartford, Kent.
The bride wore a white halter-neck dress, complete with basque and full skirt, and a veil with a diamante and pearl headband. She carried a bouquet of flowers made from recycled milk bottles, by Ecoblooms.
She was attended by 'dude of honour' Craig Ferns, who wore a pale blue suit and tie, and friend, Jade Phillips, who wore a pale blue Grecian-style dress.
The best man was Colin Phillips (bridegroom's twin brother), and the usher was four-year-old Toby Phillips (couple's son).
The couple, who live in Kent, spent their honeymoon undertaking various family outings.
