GREEN-FINGERED residents showed off their skills at Ventnor Horticultural Society's show, held at Holy Trinity Church.

Flowers, fruit, cakes and crafts were all on display at Saturday's event.

Mike Wood swept the board, winning cups for his runner beans, onions, roses, dahlias and fruit.

Cay Byford won a trophy for her tomatoes, and Joan Nowlan won cups for her cakes.
