A ROBBERY victim was forced to hand over his rucksack and trainers — and police are looking for three teenage suspects.

The 20-year-old man was robbed while walking along Tennyson Road, Freshwater, between 5.30pm and 5.35pm on Saturday, August 24.

He said three boys approached him and demanded he hand over his rucksack and Nike Air Walk trainers, described as maroon coloured with a white trim and black laces.

His beige Animal rucksack contained several items including a brown wallet with bank card and cash, charger and USM plug, blue headphones, keys with a Bart Simpson keyring, black joggers and a black t-shirt, a black lanyard from the New Forest Show and a CEX card with an image of Bart Simpson on it.

The first suspect is described as white, aged 18 or 19 years old and 5ft 10ins tall, with a slim build, short blonde hair and a black, stubbly beard. He was wearing jeans, a grey t-shirt and white trainers.

The second is described as white, aged 17 with brown hair, blue shorts and a black t-shirt with an Adidas logo on the top left.

The third is described as white, with a larger build, wearing a black hooded top, black joggers and black shoes with a white Nike tick.

An Isle of Wight Police spokesperson said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of offence who saw boys matching these descriptions, or may have witnessed this incident.

"Furthermore, if you know where any of the above items are, please get in contact.
