Needles Coastguard Rescue Team assisted a casualty on the beach.
A TRICKY rescue of a child with neck pain on the beach was tackled by Needles Coastguard Rescue Team.
The rescue team worked to extricate the child from Chilton Chine beach on Thursday at around 2pm.
The team worked alongside Freshwater Lifeboat and the IW Ambulance Service.
The rescue team thanked the staff at Isle of Wight Pearl for the refreshments and shade while waiting for the ambulance.
