THE ISLAND'S very own comic convention is coming to Cowes — boasting an array of celebrity guests and exhibitors.

Big names such as Colin Baker, who played the sixth Doctor Who, and Josh Herdman who played Gregory Goyle in the Harry Potter films, will be descending on Cowes Enterprise College on August 24 and 25 at Fan TC Con.

TV actor Christopher Ryan, who has appeared in Doctor Who and many other programmes, is also on the line-up.

Also attending will be the 501st Isle of Wight Star Wars Stormtrooper Garrison as part of the Festival of Cosplay.

Fan TC Con also boasts stalls from a variety of local businesses such as Comic Coffee and Island Cake Studio, as well as panels, live podcasts and more.
