FIREFIGHTERS were called to a vehicle fire at Compton this evening (Thursday).

At 6pm, a single fire engine from Beaulieu ­— located on the south eastern edge of the New Forest ­— arrived at the scene, having attended the preceding Upton barn fire in Ryde.

Firefighter dealt with a small fire involving the exhaust system of a black Land Rover.
