Emergency road closure announced for BT Openreach emergency repair work in Northwood.
AN EMERGENCY road closure has been put in place at Hillis Gate Road, Northwood, today (Tuesday).
The closure will enable BT Openreach to carry out emergency repairs to a telegraph pole to restore customer service.
The road closure will affect Hillis Gate Road from its junction with Horsebridge Hill to its junction with Rew Street for a distance of 1,081 metres.
The diversion will affect Hillis Gate Road, Pallance Road, Nodes Road, Newport Road, Cowes Road and Horsebridge Hill.
The road closure will be in place for 21 days, or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
