A PHOTOGRAPHER has opened his own gallery in Cowes.
Neil Williams, who specialises in natural and urban landscapes, featuring stark, contrasting colours, opened the High Street gallery with a champagne reception last Sunday.
He said: "I moved to the Island seven years ago with my wife, Clare, and daughters, Rosie and Tabatha, following an impromptu visit whilst searching the south of England for a place to live.
"I continued to work every weekend, travelling to Portsmouth, before giving up city life altogether and going full time with a gallery in Ventnor three years ago."
Neil has a selection of photographs and prints on sale at his new, larger gallery.
He said: "Over the last few years business has been growing and growing, and has now led to a need for more space and more walls to hang pictures on."
