Emergency Road Closure at Whitcombe Road, Newport.
AN EMERGENCY road closure has been put in place at Whitcombe Road, Newport, today (Wednesday).
The closure will enable emergency ironwork repairs to be carried out.
The road closure affects Whitcombe Road from its junction with Froglands Lane for a distance of approximately 198 metres.
The diversion will affect Whitcombe Road, Whitepit Lane, Shide Road, Blackwater Road, Blackwater Hollow, and Sandy Lane.
The road closure will be in place for 21 days, or until works have been completed, whichever is sooner.
