A GROUP of teenagers helped their injured friend in Totland this afternoon (Saturday).
A 15-year-old boy sustained an injury to his arm while enjoying the sea, and his quick thinking friends applied pressure to the wound to stop the bleeding.
A spokesperson for Friends of Freshwater Firestation said: "The group wrapped Ollie in towels to warm him up and called for medical help.
"After having the wound cleaned and dressed at the scene, Ollie was transported to hospital for further care.
"Ollie wanted to thank all of his friends for helping."
