A POLICE appeal has been launched to find a missing woman.

Rosie Johnson, 22, was last seen at Little Canada, Wootton, on Sunday, June 23.

Members of the Wootton community have been asked to check sheds, boats and outbuildings.

Rosie has mousey brown hair and is of slim build, and was last seen wearing a dark blue puffa jacket and trousers.

Police officers and volunteers from Wight SAR search and rescue organisations are conducting searches in the area.

UPDATE 8.30am Wednesday:

The search for missing Rosie Johnson continues today (Wednesday).

Ventnor and Bembridge Coastguard Rescue Teams and Ryde Inshore Rescue were called to carry out a search from Kings Quay to Ryde Pier, and inland, at around 2pm yesterday (Tuesday).

The Daily Mail has reported Rosie is a zoology graduate from Glasgow who was working at Little Canada as an instructor when she went missing, without a phone or any money.
