Firefighters rescued a man from a roof in Newport in the early hours of this morning (Firday).
A MAN on the roof of a Newport building was rescued by firefighters in the early hours of this morning (Friday).
Firefighters from Newport Fire Station were called out alongside police at 1.12am, a spokesperson for the fire and rescue service said.
The man was rescued by firefighters using an aerial ladder platform and left in the hands of the police.
