Firefighters rescued a dog that had gone down a cliff near Bonchurch.
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a dog that had gone over a cliff at Devil's Chimney near Bonchurch this afternoon (Wednesday).
Crews from Newport, Shanklin and two from Ryde were called to Smuggler's Haven car park to help rescue the animal, after they were called out at 2.42pm.
Coastguard were also called out to the incident.
Firefighters climbed down to the dog and carried it back to the waiting owner.
