ISLAND Roads have closed East Ashey Lane in Brading this afternoon (Wednesday), to allow Southern Water to carry out emergency repairs.

The road closure was put in place at 2pm and affects East Ashey Lane, between its junctions with Ashey Road and Green Lane.

Diversion routes signposted at affected routes.

The road closure will reamin in place until works have been completed.
