THERE have been reports of a crash in Newport this morning (Tuesday).
Southern Vectis said the incident happened at Shide Road shortly after 9am.

Due to an accident along the Shide rd. The route 38 is currently unable to serve stops along there and part of medina avenue.
38 will divert along St John's rd, and Cypress rd back to normal route on medina avenue. #travelalert

A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.54am with reports that a teenage girl had suffered injuries along Watergate Road.
"Police attended but there was no criminal involvement and no collision had taken place.
"The girl was treated by the ambulance service."
