JESS Glynne will never play at the Isle of Wight Festival again, the organiser has said, after she pulled out of her scheduled appearance on Sunday, citing exhaustion.

According to the Daily Mirror, the pop star partied with the Spice Girls following their show at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening. The paper had photos of her at the aftershow party.

Festival boss John Giddings criticised the singer’s ‘shocking behaviour’ and said: “She will never be booked to play the Isle of Wight again.

“It shows no regards for people that bought a ticket. It’s so sad that an artist would do that to their fans. She’s let them down.”

Jess Glynne arrived at the festival site and her band and stage set were ready for the 6.30pm set.

However, she was unable to go on stage and ten minutes later, Mr Giddings faced the crowd to announce her set was off, leaving her young fans in tears.

Her management initially blamed her no show on exhaustion.

Yesterday, the singer put out her own statement saying she couldn’t help her body ‘giving up on her’ and saying she had to do what was right for her mental health.

It said: "I was incredibly weak and full of anxiety. The last thing I ever want to do is let people down, I am sorry to anyone who I upset, it was not my intention. I had to do what was right for my physical and mental health.

"Kills me having to explain myself but I’ve just seen so much negativity online and in the press and it’s so frustrating and a load of bullshit. I refuse to be made to feel like a bad person.”

Jess Glynne also pulled out of the 2015 IW Festival, for vocal surgery, but she performed at the festival the following year.
