EMERGENCY services were called to an incident at Wootton High Street this evening (Monday).
Southern Vectis tweeted at 8.21pm that it's buses were diverted due to a road traffic incident.
A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service said the incident involved a motorcyclist who had suffered a medical episode.
He was subsequently taken to St Mary's Hospital.
UPDATE today (Tuesday) at 10am:
A spokesperson for the Isle of Wight Police said: "We were called at 7.22pm on Monday, June 17 to a report of a single-vehicle collision in High Street, Wootton.
"It was reported that a motorbike rider came off his bike at low speed.
"He was taken to hospital for treatment to non-life-threatening injuries."
