SEVERAL celebrities were spotted enjoying the delights of the Isle of Wight Festival this year.

TV presenters Fiona Bruce and Ben Fogle were spotting sampling the delights of the IW Distillery backstage, and actor Colin Firth stayed on the Island for the weekend and popped along to enjoy the festival music.

Also spotted in among the crowd was TV presenter Bruce Parry.

Working on festival coverage for Sky Arts was Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, and presenter Edith Bowman.

Some fans were lucky enough to get selfies with the festival stars.

Isle of Wight resident Jim Gallagher bumped into Noel Gallagher on the Lymington to Yarmouth Wightlink Ferry and explained that he believes they might be distantly related.

Noel then told the story while on stage at the festival.

His daughter Lisa Little said: "I was very surprised while I was watching in the crowd that Noel replayed the story to all the people at the festival, about how he’d met my dad and how they could be related.

"It was lovely to hear it, and it made my dad's day."
