THE Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service was called to a property in Carisbrooke yesterday afternoon (Friday).
The fire service was called at 4.47pm to tackle a small fire within a faulty tumble dryer.
Two fire engines — one from Newport and one from East Cowes — were sent to the property at Alvington Road, Carisbrooke.
The small fire was found to be out upon arrival — advice was issued to the owners.
