WOLVERTON Manor Garden Fair will return to Shorwell this year — celebrating its 20th anniversary.

The hugely popular event will take place at the manor house and grounds on the weekend of August 31 and September 1.

Over the past two decades, the garden fair has raised more than £200,000 for charities including Age UK Isle of Wight.

Last year, it raised a record £22,000 and attracted more than 6,000 visitors through the doors.

The traditional garden fair features fun and entertainment for all the family, including Elizabethan dancing, cooking demonstrations, re-enactments, dog shows, archery and more than 100 arts and crafts stalls.

Visitors can meet alpacas and donkeys, admire displays of vintage and military vehicles and enjoy vintage fairground amusements, magic shows and live music.
