MYSTERY Jets have pulled out of the Isle of Wight Festival and are being replaced by Starsailor.

Mystery Jets had to cancel their scheduled performance due to illness.

Starsailor will appear at the Big Top on Sunday.

Frontman James Walsh joined festival-goers travelling to the festival earlier this afternoon by busking on the 1pm Red Funnel ferry from Southampton to the Isle of Wight on behalf of the festival's official charity partner Macmillan, ahead of his solo performance this evening in the Big Top stage, alongside Simply Dylan, Heather Smalls and Wet Wet Wet.

Also confirmed to appear this weekend are Yungblud, who replaces Sam Fender, and Friendly Fires, replacing Cage the Elephant, at the Big Top on Saturday.

Other acts performing across the weekend include Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, George Ezra, Fatboy Slim, Biffy Clyro, Hacienda Classical, Garbage and Keane.
