A DENTIST in Ryde has written and illustrated a book for children — and all profits go to the Daisy Chains charity.

Johanna Thompson's work — a rhyming alphabet book with pictures of activities Johanna has done on the Island with her children — has already raised more than £700.

The book encourages parents to read to their children, and get them saying 'I love you' to one another.

Denbigh House Dental Surgery — Johanna's place of work — has also recently become involved in a recycling scheme.

The dental surgery is recycling plastic toothbrushes, packaging and toothpaste tubes, and anyone can take part and bring them in, not just patients.
