WHO doesn't love raving to Blue Monday played by a live orchestra?

The Hacienda Classical returns to the Isle of Wight Festival with its wildly successful clubbing meets classical show.

On Friday night, the Big Top will become a festival version of the famous Hacienda nightclub. Club classics will be given a new twist by the Manchester Camerata Orchestra — the drums, basslines and synth harmonies transformed with strings and brass.

Musical director and conductor Tim Crooks said: "Last year was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was dressed in gold and it was just brilliant fun. The Big Top has it all — the sound is great, and you still have that intimacy. You pack thousands of people in there and the atmosphere is amazing."

Expect to hear club classics like Ride on Time by Black Box and Blue Monday by New Order — songs made to dance to.

Tim said: "Blue Monday is always a really special moment. It's been in the show every single year and it's a fantastic record. It was Peter Hook who brought this all together — he's almost always at our shows too, so look out for him."
