THE Cowes floating bridge will be out of action tomorrow (Tuesday) while further repairs are carried out.
The Isle of Wight Council said planned maintenance would be carried out on the vessel's west prow hinge — to ensure the chain ferry was fully operational for the busy Isle of Wight Festival period.
A temporary foot passenger launch service will be in place from 5am.
An update will be provided once the work is complete.
