LIVE music, games and a bake-off challenge will be among the entertainment at the Cowes Big Lunch.
The free community celebration will take place at Northwood Park on Sunday (June 2).
Now in its sixth year, the event has previously attracted more than 2,500 people — a number organisers, including Cowes Town Council, hope to top this weekend.
Opening with a marching band, the event will include entertainment including a dog show, falconry display and live music.
Charities and businesses have organised stalls, games and competitions, thanks to a grant from Waitrose, and there will be a Big Lunch Bake-Off — where adults and children will aim to impress the judges with homemade cakes, quiche and biscuits.
