ANOTHER car has been removed from the Island roads for having no tax or MoT.

It hadn’t been taxed for almost a year.

The driver had the vehicle seized and will have to pay recovery costs. They will also have points on their driving licence and a fine.

The car was recovered by Stag Lane Motors on instruction by the police yesterday.

The car’s MoT had expired on March 29, 2019, and the tax was due on May 30, 2018.

It is the latest in a crackdown of illegal vehicles on IW roads.
