THE inaugural South East England Community Rail Showcase will be taking place this summer.
The event, on Monday, July 15, is free to attend, and will run from 10am to 4pm, including a light lunch, at the Southampton Harbour Hotel.
Speakers from South Western Railway, Go South Coast and Hovertravel will be in attendance, alongside several others.
Over recent years, Community Rail Partnerships have successfully promoted sustainable, healthy travel, and supported social development, all while encouraging more diverse community involvement.
As an invitation to join the team, there will also be a chance to meet Community Rail Partnerships from across the South East, to discuss how they could support your organisation’s objectives.
A complementary shuttle bus will be provided to and from Southampton Central Railway Station, as well as free travel on SWR services.
