False alarm — Isle of Wight firefighters find controlled bonfire after 999 call
Firefighters from Newport were alerted to a potential fire in Gatcombe yesterday evening, only to find a controlled bonfire.
A member of the public had phoned 999 to report a suspected fire, but investigations found it was all under control.
