VOLUNTARY and community groups can bid for grant funding worth up to £40,000.

The Isle of Wight Council’s adult community learning service has published its latest grant funding prospectus for providers of adult education and learning opportunities on the Isle of Wight.

Bids are invited from voluntary and community groups, as well as any enterprise that will use funding to deliver services that widen access to adult learning opportunities.

The service provides opportunities that engage adults in learning, with a focus on those who have benefited least from the formal education system.

The council will be seeking outcomes in return for grant funding which are outlined in the grant funding prospectus, which can be downloaded at www.iow.gov.uk/prospectus

Organisations that can deliver services or projects that meet some of these outcomes should contact Rob Brindley for an application form, on 817280 or email robert.brindley@iow.gov.uk

The deadline for applications is 3pm, on Monday, June 10.
