PERTEMPS Isle of Wight has donated almost £3,000 to Kissy Puppy, The Sophie Rolf Trust.

Throughout the last year, Pertemps has been raising money for the Isle of Wight charity.

The small team has organised various events and challenges throughout the year, from pub quizzes to race nights, raffles to cake sales.

In total, the branch raised £2,791.18 for Kissy Puppy.

Laura Wilkes, senior consultant at Pertemps Isle of Wight, said: "Some of our colleagues Walked the Wight, our very brave manager walked the Island Ultra Challenge.

"We really wanted to help make a difference for this charity.

"We even created a travelling bear named Betty, which we showcased to both our existing and new clients. We asked our clients to take Betty away on holiday with them, in return for a snap near a landmark or maybe even Betty sipping on a cocktail.

"Once the photo was sent over to the branch, Pertemps donated £20 to the charity.

"We really put some thought into this to ensure our clients wanted to get involved, and to also bring some different and, most importantly, fun ideas to the table.

"It’s safe to say, Betty was well travelled, with South Africa and the Mediterranean included within her highlights.

"We have worked continuously throughout the year, as well as using our own free time to fully support the charity.

"We also celebrated 20 years of business on the Island last year, which has tied in nicely.

"We have had some great feedback from our clients and supporters, and it has been a real feel-good factor to give back to our Island community."
