THE ISLAND Savoyards are no Scrooges!
Programme sales at the theatre group's recent production of A Christmas Carol have been donated to charity.
Members presented a cheque for £1,110 to Clic Sargent, a UK cancer charity for children, young people and their families.
A spokesperson for the Island Savoyards said: "Thank you so much to everyone for their support in buying a programme and to all our advertisers.
"It is wonderful to be able to support local charities through our productions at Shanklin Theatre."
The group is looking forward to its next productions — Sister Act in August, and their winter production, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
