Revised closure for Newport Quay.
NEWPORT Quay and Footpath N120 have been closed to all users for bridge replacement works.
The closure is necessary to facilitate crane movement for the safe delivery of bridge replacement works.
The road has been closed from its junction with Sea Street to its junction with Hillside for a distance of 90m.
A diversion is in place affecting Newport Quay, Hillside, Fairlee Road, the cycle track from Newport to Wootton, and Newport Footpath 208.
The road will be closed for a maximum period of five days or until the works are complete, whichever is sooner.
