A CAR has turned over in a crash on Whitwell Road this afternoon (Thursday).

A Suzuki Grand Vitara had turned over during a crash near the junction with St Lawrence Shute.

Emergency services were called at 2.23pm to reports of a single vehicle collision on Whitwell Road.

Whitwell Road has been closed from Gill's Cliff Road, police said.

Police and paramedics were called to the scene.

The driver was uninjured, police said.
