DEAD birds were hung from the gate of broadcaster Chris Packham this morning.
The Countryfile presenter, who is a regular visitor to the Island, tweeted a picture of the birds after he found them strung up on his gate.
The incident follows Mr Packham's support for a campaign against the killing of birds such as crows, woodpigeons and jays.

Farmers have now been banned from shooting 'pest' birds on their land, as Natural England bowed to a legal challenge from environmentalists, including Chris Packham.
A petition, signed by more than 80,734 people, said: "As an employee of the BBC, Chris Packham should remain impartial and keep his views and beliefs to himself. However, he is the face of many anti hunting campaigns and uses his celeb status as a platform to push his anti hunting agenda, he has made his goal to ban all kinds of hunting, and country sports and pursuits. I feel he is no longer fit to work for the BBC."
