FIREFIGHTERS were called out to St Mary's Hospital this morning (Thursday).
Crews from Newport and Ryde were mobilised at 8.29am to an alarm sounding at the hospital, a fire and rescue service spokesperson said.
However, it transpired the alarm was caused by a disruption in power supply and there was no fire.
Crews were on scene for a total of nine minutes.
