Sandown Post Office has re-opened at a new location.

The post office is now open seven days a week at Bestway Retail in Avenue, Road,

The previous premises in Albert Road, Sandown, closed at the end of March due to the expiry of the lease.

The new location has four Post Office counters and the full range of Post Office products and services available.

There is a dedicated area of the store with one screened and two open-plan positions. This area is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5.30pm.

There is also a low-screened, modern Post Office till at the retail counter, offering same Post Office products and services throughout the store’s opening hours from Monday to Sunday, 7am to 10pm, so customers can access their Post Office when it’s convenient.

The new premises will have a wide door and a level access. Internally, there will be a hearing loop, a low-level writing desk, a low-level serving counter and space for a wheelchair.

Time-restricted roadside parking is available directly outside the new premises.
