ARE you ready to get sky high?

The Sky High event will see more than 40 hot air balloons, of all shapes and sizes, set sail from Robin Hill during the May half term.

Visitors will be able to meet the pilots, walk inside the balloons and even win the chance to take flight.

There will be kite-making and flying workshops for the kids.

A special twilight event, Night Glow, will take place on May 27 and 29, where visitors will be able to see the balloons at nightfall, lit up in all their glory, together with incredible sound and light production.

Refreshments and live music will be available throughout the evening.

Recently, staff from Robin Hill and Red Funnel — which is running a special offer for mainland visitors — enjoyed a Sky High taster, and took a hot air balloon ride from Mayflower Park, Southampton.

Robin Hill park manager James Crofts said: "It was a fantastic morning, the weather was perfect.

"We are really excited to be bringing a brand-new event, Sky High, to the Isle of Wight this May.

"A huge thank you to the team from Robin Hill, Red Funnel and Bloon for delivering a fantastic experience."

Sky High takes place at Robin Hill between May 27 and 30, 10am till 10pm.
