HAMPSHIRE Search and Rescue has joined the ongoing search for missing Ryde woman Joyce Maryon.

The mainland team travelled over the Solent this morning (Sunday) to join the Island-based Wight SAR and police in the search.

Police and family of the missing woman are becoming increasingly concerned as the days go by.

Joyce Maryon went missing on Tuesday, April 9. She is 51 years old and described as white with pale skin and brown hair.

Yesterday, police released a CCTV image of the woman, showing the distinctive clothing she was wearing when she went missing.

She was wearing a jacket with a wolf's face on the back, white patterned trousers, a purple baseball cap and blue trainers with white soles.

She was also carrying a black rucksack with a coloured design on it.
