AN RAF pilot made his final flight in the service over the Isle of Wight.
The pilot flew over Bembridge and his family beach hut at Forelands during his last flight before retiring after 35 years with the RAF.
Islanders watched as the large Boeing C-17 Globemaster RAF transport aircraft flew low over the Isle of Wight.
The pilot's mother, Pat Tapley, posted on Facebook saying the event was quite emotional.
