ANYONE interested in buying a digger could try them out first at the Isle of Wight's 2nd annual Dig Day.

Stubbings Bros, which celebrated its 35th year last year, held the Dig Day event at Fairlee last Saturday.

It gave a chance for anyone interested in buying a digger to have a try on a Kubota, a UK make.

Andy Stubbings, one of the directors, said: "People love the chance to try the machines out for themselves, and it’s a great opportunity for people to see just how good Kubota excavators are.

"The day offered lots of big boys' toys, with free burgers and hot drinks provided."

They took along five different sized Kubota excavators on the day, along with the new Kubota M7152 demonstrator tractor and a couple of larger diesel Kubota G26 ride-on mowers.

Stubbings Bros is based in Chale Green.
