The first Easter crosses erected on Mersley Down in 2010.
ONCE again three crosses will be erected on Mersley Down to mark Easter.
The crosses will be put up on Tuesday and taken down on April 23.
The stark reminder of Easter is arranged by Bernard Cooke.
Mr Cooke said: "My wife and I were on holiday in Kent just north of Dover about this time nine years ago.
"We saw three crosses on a hill in the distance. It was quite impressive."
Mr Cooke took the idea back to the Isle of Wight and in Easter 2010, three crosses were erected on Mersley Down.
