A FAMILIAR character has set sail to the Isle of Wight.

Shaun the Sheep and his entire flock left Mossy Bottom Farm to spread their mischievous frolics and sheepish shenanigans to board the Wightlink ferry and launch Championsheeps Live at Robin Hill’s newest event, Farm Fest this Easter.

The fun is on until April 27, from 10am to 5pm, with Shaun the Sheep making appearances today and tomorrow, and from April 15 to 19.

In true farmyard style, Shaun arrived at Robin Hill on a Massey Ferguson tractor, thanks to C&O Tractors, which is now on display at Farm Fest.

For farm-tastic family fun, hop on-board for a rumbling tractor ride, spend some time making friends with the farmyard animals in the touring petting farm and test your skills in Shaun’s Championsheeps Live which includes the freerange egg and spoon race, naughty pig sack race, and Shirley’s bouncy hopper PieAthlon.

There will also be a tractor display, and pedal tractor races throughout the event.

The petting farm has a miniature horse, miniature donkey, alpaca, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a tortoise, and is at Robin Hill from April 20 to 22.
