SEALS have been spotted at Yarmouth and other areas of the Isle of Wight this week.

County Press reader Bob Smith took this video of a seal swimming around under Yarmouth Pier yesterday.

He said: "As we walked towards the end of the pier, the seal was surfacing on the right hand side a few metres away. It was surfacing for air, taking in large, noisy breaths before descending beneath the surface of the sea.

"It would remain underwater for two to three minutes and surface roughly in the same area. It was a lovely sight."
