From M. White, Newport:
May I once again bring up the situation that is incurring with traffic in Briddlesford Road.
For instance, on Sunday, March 24, tailbacks were nearly reaching Robin Hill roundabout from 11am in the morning, till 5pm in the afternoon which I observed, also on Monday, March 25.
Briddlesford Road is a main through road for ferry traffic and due to traffic wishing to enter the Civic Amenity site it becomes grid locked. I am not the only one to raise this issue.
All the IW council and Island Roads seem to do is bury their heads in the sand; hopefully nobody will get frustrated due to being late for a ferry and overtake this stationary line of traffic with a  car coming from the Wootton direction.
